Chasing the Aurora

By day, I explored Hallgrímskirkja Church and the harbor, where colorful boats bobbed in icy water. By night, we drove beyond the city lights, where the Northern Lights appeared suddenly — fleeting, silent, and divine.

Dinner was a comforting bowl of plokkfiskur, a creamy fish stew, followed by skyr with fresh berries. Simple, hearty, and filled with that unmistakable Icelandic sincerity — food that makes you feel at home, even at the edge of the world.
